Windtex has just employed James Rothwell as the new rope access & blade repair project manager. James has been working in the rope access industry since 2005 and more recently moved into the wind industry in 2011.
In the past 8 years, James has achieved great things, helping his previous company grow to be a leading blade repair company. Now, he is going to bring his knowledge and experience to Windtex and expand our customer base through new marketing channels.

A few of James’ previous projects include;
- An integral member of the first offshore blade retrofit campaign in 2011 at Horns Rev 2 in Esbjerg, Denmark.
- Rope access project manager for the first ultra-sonic blade repair inspection test on multiple sites across the UK.
- Project manager for Europe’s largest wind farm (at the time) carrying out LPS and PCU retrofits.
